About the Club...
As a private members club, the institute offers a comfortable and spacious bar with some of the best prices and
best beer in town... along with a huge range of facilities, including snooker, pool, darts, large-screen Sky TV and much more, as well
as organising a range of events including live music and occasional trips and days out.
Traditionally open to and used by locals and Wells residents and their guests, temporary holiday memberships are now available so
that visitors to the town can come and enjoy our unique atmosphere and facilities. Do drop in sometime...
Opening hours
We're open every day from 6pm to 11pm Monday to Friday, 11am to 11pm on Saturdays and 12 until 10.30pm on Sundays, along with extensions and special days throughout the year.
Our facilities
Central to the club is our well-stocked bar with some of the keenest prices you'll find in Wells and a wide range of beers, lagers, spirits and bar snacks.
While you're here, you can enjoy our three full size snooker tables, pool table, large TV with Sky Sports, darts, fruit machines or simply find a quiet corner with your friends
or at the bar and relax...
The club is a venue for regular snooker tournaments and is home to two Ladies Darts teams that play in the local Fakenham league and in the club on a Thursday
night from around 8pm till closing. The Darts Ladies A team plays in the winter months whereas the B team play all year round.
